This virtual experience allows the user to walk between different room environments, whilst experiencing the aura effects first hand. The disturbances recreated include Phonophobia, Photophobia, Scotoma, Scintillating Scotoma, Fortification Spectra, Tunnel Vision, Double Vision, Giddiness, Micropsia, Macropsia, and Metamorphopsia. The program was used extensively for exhibitions, GP meetings, patient focus groups, press conferences and with the general public. The ability to recreate symptoms of a condition first hand, be they visual, audio or physical, has applications for numerous other conditions.
