It lived in North America in the Cretaceous period which started around 144 million years ago and lasted for around 80 million years into the Palaeocene Period. Triceratops had three horns on its face, one on its nose and two on top of its head. It also had protective frill behind its head which protected its neck and had a jagged edge of exposed bone.   Habitat Information You will enter this environment at night with only a flashlight to aid in your exploration. Find the grazing Triceratops through the forest and get information on them and the surrounding plant life by pressing specific keys on your keyboard. There are up to 8 Triceratops wandering around at any time so be sure to explore thoroughly.
