Tennents Just for Kicks - Launch '04
Just for Kicks is a penalty shootout game that was produced for Tennents Ireland, the three units developed were  launched in February 2004 and were to tour throughout Ireland in popular pubs and bars. The units were very simple to assemble (5mins max) and were based on an accelerated PC system platform.

Each user controls the on-screen player with the use of a rumble joy-pad. On the main game screen the user sees the player, goalkeeper surrounded by the stadium.  With the aid of the two small joysticks built into the joy-pad the user is able to move both the virtual player left/right and also the on-screen goal mouth cursor. This is used to select the desired area of the goal mouth that they would like to place their shot. To make the on-screen player strike the ball the user simply presses a button on the joy-pad once to start the power bar, once again to select the desired power level, and once again to affect the shots accuracy. Accurate shots would see the on-screen power and accuracy bars at equal levels creating a well struck and direct shot.
