New West Stand Development '05 Maelstrom has recently produced a fully interactive 3D VR walk and fly-through of the new West Stand development currently being built at Rotherham. The software includes interior rooms such as a standard executive box, the boardroom and also the executive suite. Other features included in the development are all the existing stands modelled and represented in full 3D, all new car parking and exterior developments.   Additional Criteria To aid in the planning process and design of the stadium - the VR version is built entirely to scale, enabling planners and builders to identify and solve any problems that may exist. Maelstrom used the architectural plans and drawings to produce the software, so ensuring complete accuracy. PR - To aid in the publicity of the new plans, enabling the public and press to walk around the new development long before its completion. Video clips (avi files) are also being produced to be sent out to prospective clients, the premiere club members, and potential box holders. Sales - The program enables users to see the view from individual seats anywhere in the stadium. Advertising hoardings are easily altered to show corporate branding opportunities.
