The PC
systems used with our software and in our hardware are designed to be
project specific - this cuts down on costs and makes each unit specific to
the application its running. Generally we use PC systems because they are
affordable, easily upgraded and most users are familiar with the Windows
OS. Usually a basic PC system for use in one of our promotional games
featured in this section
(under units developed)
will cost
around £500.00, this includes the dual head 128mb AGP graphics card. This
is used for giving two video output sources - one to the headset and
another to an external viewing monitor or plasma screen.
The
Specs below are based on a standard desktop system with additions that
include the PAL encoder and amplifier. The PAL encoder converts one of the
VGA (PC video) signals to a PAL signal - this input is accepted by
hardware such as TV's or Plasma screens. Doing this enables our systems to
be used in pubs, bars and clubs and allows the game to be seen throughout
the venue on their own TV/AV system.

As stated
earlier this is the standard system, each application we produce requires
its own specific hardware
that is
tailored to suit to needs of the project and also the budget.
