< Return to previous page                                             the applications   Football Association - New Football Training Academy Maelstrom has recently completed a project for the FA which visualises their proposed new training academy near Burton-on-Trent. The software includes 3km of OS mapped landscape geometry and is textured using satellite imagery that is mapped into 500m tiles at a resolution of 1024x1024 pixels.   The purpose of the project was to visualise the new development (to foundation stage) including the 10 training pitches located around the area. The next stage of this projects development will be to visualise the indoor stadium structure and other facilities once the plans and budgets are finalised.
