- Users are free to

- Phase II of the
software was launched at the TJV

- This version of the
software is an interactive game and challenges users to perform
certain tasks whilst on

-
- In order to be able
to perform the virtual tasks the user wears
VR gloves, the gloves enable
the user to control
- their
virtual hands in the VR world. The user performs simple gestures in
order to interact with the virtual
- controls on board.
For example, pointing with the left hand moves the user forwards in the
direction they are
- facing, pointing
with their right hand interacts with the on board controls and switches.
Performing the 'grab'
- gesture with both hands allows the
user to grab hold of items such as the winch handles or the yacht's wheel.
-
- Each interactive
task is time based, and users are continuously evaluated and scores are
awarded when
- each task has been
completed. If the user takes too long the timer runs out and user scores
nothing for that
- task! When all the
tasks are complete the users score is entered into the high-score table.
